Right — been on this thing for maybe five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could work out what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the one I use most — you drop in stake and odds and you get profit and total return with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here calculate yankee bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that actually changed how I bet was the geekier tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. Its design is very functional, let’s say — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you even now does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for about five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m UK based, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could work out what an each way payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at vig calculator — free, no signup.

What genuinely shifted things for me were the nerdier bits. There’s an probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its design feels a bit basic — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — fine by me but you asked.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — been on this thing for maybe six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a mate asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s here novig calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that actually shifted things for me is the geekier bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface feels a bit basic — not much frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine although the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m UK based, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it shows the return straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here student matched betting calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What actually made a difference was the geekier bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout is a bit basic — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an e/w return would be when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

There’s also the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here each way bet calculator free — free, no signup.

One thing that actually made a difference was the nerdier extras. The implied probability calculator which shows you the overround, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too if I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface looks very functional, let’s say — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — it’s saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Right — been using this thing for maybe six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m UK based, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was genuinely a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e/w return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Pragmatic Play مسيطرة شوية ووطبعًا NetEnt وPlay’n GO.
